Dr. Chris Vallee is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine
(TCM) and a Registered Acupuncturist in the province of British
Columbia. He graduated from the Canadian College of Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine in June of 1995. In his final year of
school, he served as the third year representative on the
school board. Chris has been a member of the Acupuncturist
Association of BC, the Canadian Acupuncturist and TCM Alliance
and the Qualified Acupuncturist and TCM Alliance. Chris has
had a successful practice in Abbotsford for the last ten years,
working with players from the Abbotsford Airforce Junior Football
team, Abbotsford Soccer Association, Abbotsford Rugby Club,
local hockey players and other local athletes in the area.
Chris also has a practice in Port Coquitlam where he has been
working with the BC Lions, local marathon runners, and other
athletes.
Chris is currently the President of the QATCMA, Chair of
the Advocacy Committee for the QATCMA, ICBC Liaison for the
QATCMA and Founding Member of the British Columbia Sports
Acupuncture Association. To date, as President of the QATCMA,
he has begun creating awareness with the BC Minister of Health
and was interviewed by Channel M News and the Abbotsford Times.
Chris prides himself on educating the public on the benefits
of TCM and Acupuncture so that people understand that TCM
is not alternative medicine. TCM can best be described as
complimentary medicine, as it can be used to treat many ailments
naturally.
